At Broken Grains, everything starts with a simple idea:

We’re a small-batch bakery based in Alberta, built from a love of sourdough and a desire to create something honest. No shortcuts. No unnecessary additives. Just time, patience, and a process that’s been trusted for generations.

Our crackers are naturally fermented using sourdough starter, giving them a deeper flavour and a lighter, more enjoyable bite. It’s not the fastest way to make food — but it’s the right way.

Every batch is mixed, rolled, and baked by hand in our home kitchen. What started as a personal craft quickly became something we wanted to share — something simple, satisfying, and made with intention.
